SNR >> 1 Hackathon
A highly curated, small hackathon for top engineers and researchers. We are hosting up to 40 builders in Napa, California, at the private residence of a Shark Tank investor (Colombia and México).
Because this is a curated event, no +1s are allowed.

What we look for when judging
Problem quality: Is it meaningful, and why does it matter?
First-principles thinking: Why does this approach make sense?
Execution + technical depth: Complexity is not the goal, but we care how deep you can go and how well it works
Who’s a great fit
We are optimizing for high technical talent in the Bay Area, such as:
CS students at top universities
Engineers building at the application layer (startups or FAANG)
Researchers (university or AI lab), including foundational work
Not the best fit
People who are only casually curious about AI
People who just started using vibe-coding tools
People mainly looking to network (this is a build-first day)
Our partners’ tools (Claude, Gemini, Lovable, v0) can help you move fast. What matters is how deep you can go with them.
FAQs
Is there a theme?
No. Surprise us. We will provide credits, and we want you to be ambitious within the time constraints. Robotics, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and hardware are welcome.
Do I need a team?
No. Solo builders are welcome. Teams are also welcome.
Any guidelines?
Be respectful, be ready to build, and show up with a strong maker mindset. If you form a team, we recommend up to 3 people.
