Reverse Debate Social!
Applications are open to speak at our reverse debate social! It's similar to a standard debate: 3 speakers for and 3 against a proposition. The twist? Each speaker gives two speeches, one on each side.
When you RSVP on Luma, you can vote on which motion you'd like debated:
This house believes that human nature is fundamentally evil.
This house believes that reducing risks posed by AI should be humanity's greatest priority.
This house believes that all animals, including humans, should be entitled to equal moral consideration.
We'll announce the chosen motion around Wednesday 11th of March before the event. If you'd like to speak, email Mike Wilson at mw943@cam.ac.uk. We'll set up a quick 5-minute call to chat through your speeches (they don't need to be polished or even fully written).
