2:30PM-3:00PM: Registration & Opening Remarks

3:00PM-3:55PM: Panel 1, Climate Commitments, Regulation and Reporting: What You Need to Know Now

Climate compliance and reporting is now an expected part of corporate governance and business de-risking.  Whether required by regulation or demanded by inventors and other stakeholders, companies of every size, shape and form are making sustainability commitments and navigating an increasingly complex set of data collection and climate reporting frameworks, including audit and assurance expectations. This panel will help companies and investors understand various approaches to the collection, analysis and reporting of emissions, climate impact and other climate related information. It will also discuss both regulatory requirements and voluntary climate commitments, and how companies are working to match words with actions when it comes to net zero sustainability and what pitfalls exist. This includes how companies are using carbon offsets and other climate solutions, and what to watch out for when they do.
