Welcome to Climate Warriors Weekend Explorers!
Are you ready to put down the soldering iron and laptop, go explore the outdoors and build community? We are a group of climate and climate adjacent tech enthusiasts who gather once a month to explore the outdoors. Come join us! Our first trip will be a 10 miles hike at Point Reyes National Seashore!
TRIP DETAILS:

Carpool leaves at 11 am FROM SF.
Destination: TBD / Point Reyes, Tomales Point Trail.
Distance: close to 10 miles round trip
Hiking Time: 5 hours
Total Elevation Gain/ Loss: 1,000 feet
Difficulty: Moderate
Facilities: None
Official Trail Use: No Dogs
Shade: Mostly open so bring sun protection. Also, dress in layers

WHAT TO BRING:
2 liters of water
Lunch/snacks
Hiking poles
Jacket/Sweater/hat. It can get quite windy and chilly, so dress in layers.

HIKING DIRECTIONS:
Starting at the Tomales Point Trailhead, head Northwest (2.4 miles) -->
Visit the Elk Reserve -->
Continue NW on the same trail until Tomales Point (2.5 miles) -->
LUNCH --> We will take a lunch break around the mid-point.
