About Event

For the latest edition of Being,Human the signature series by Arcc Spaces, we bring you an interactive leadership conversation for business owners, leaders, professionals and CHROs navigating the increasingly complex workplace.

Overview

The modern workplace asks us to navigate increasing complexity: different personalities, cultures and generations; competing priorities; uncertainty; difficult decisions; and conversations where the stakes can feel high.

In these moments, communication is rarely just about knowing the right words.

It is about how we respond under pressure.

Being, Human: Clarity, Confidence & Connection Under Pressure is an intimate, highly interactive facilitated experience led by Dr. Damini Chawla, founder of Speaking Human.

Rather than a traditional workshop or networking event, participants will be invited to take apart the communication and leadership patterns that emerge when work gets difficult - and explore how they can respond with greater intention.

Together, we will explore three dimensions of human communication:

CLARITY

Can I say what actually needs to be said?

How do we communicate clearly when there is ambiguity, disagreement, competing priorities or something important at stake?

CONFIDENCE

Can I hold my position without over-performing it?

What happens to our communication when hierarchy, authority, visibility and uncertainty enter the room? How do we remain grounded without becoming passive, defensive or overly forceful?

CONNECTION

Can I stay human when the conversation gets hard?

How do we listen, remain curious, navigate difference and maintain trust — even when we do not agree?

Format

This will be a 50-60 minute facilitated leadership conversation, designed for an intimate group of approximately 15–20 participants.

Rather than relying heavily on presentation slides, Damini will use provocative questions, real workplace scenarios, individual reflection, facilitated dialogue and practical communication tools to create a conversation in which participants learn not only from the facilitator, but from one another.

The experience will move between:

Provocation → Reflection → Conversation → Facilitation → Practical Application

Participants will be encouraged to examine their own patterns under pressure and leave with a clearer understanding of how they want to show up in the conversations that matter.

The facilitated experience will flow naturally into informal networking, giving participants an opportunity to continue conversations and build relationships beyond traditional professional introductions.
