Figma for Edu: Educator Office Hours #2
AI is raising big questions for design educators: How do we teach it thoughtfully? How do we prepare students for changing careers? And how do we keep our courses relevant when technology changes faster than we can update the syllabus?
Join Figma Edu and fellow educators at Figma’s newly expanded NYC office on Thursday, October 22 to compare notes, share approaches and concerns, and work through these questions together.
We’ll start with a short presentation with some Figma updates, focusing on AI tools available to educators and students, followed by roundtable conversation.
Come for fresh perspectives, ideas for your teaching, and connections with colleagues navigating similar challenges. Curiosity and skepticism are equally welcome!
Open to educators teaching design, creative technology, and adjacent disciplines.
Dinner provided.
No preparation or prior experience with Figma required.
Please note: this event is for educators only.
