ANT61 Hackathon: Win a Space Industry Internship
A one-day business hackathon where student teams tackle a real business challenge set by Sydney's space hardware industry, then pitch live to a panel of industry, academia and government judges.
Australia's space hardware sector (ANT61 included) has moved past prototype stage into scaling mode, they need business, marketing and sales talent now, not just engineers. This connects that need directly to the students who could fill it.
On the day:
Teams form on the day, get briefed on the challenge by ANT61 and industry reps in the morning, hear a midday panel, then spend the afternoon building a pitch, closing with 3-minute presentations, scoring and prizes.
Who is it for:
Business and marketing students at any Sydney University, no space/engineering background needed, just commercial thinking and a good pitch. Top teams win prizes and a shot at a space industry internship for business and operations, starting February 2027.
** Please note, this is aimed at Business Development students, as Engineering internships are filled separately. Thank you.
