The rule is simple: You meet people one-on-one in a series of short conversations. When time is up, you move on to someone new.
Each round is a chance to:
- Introduce yourself and say what you're looking for
- Find out about the other person's background and goals
- Share a contact, an idea or a useful tip
There's nothing complicated to prepare. Just have a short introduction in mind and think about what kind of help or connections would be most useful to you right now. It's also a friendly place to practise talking about yourself, which always helps when networking or interviewing.
