The Third Half: What are you doing here?

​The Third Half has always been about bringing together people who might not otherwise meet, exploring the intersection of People, Planet and Progress through honest conversation, curiosity and the occasional unexpected connection.

​To mark our first year, we're taking The Third Half off-screen for the first time and inviting a small group of guests to join us for an informal evening in London.

​Like many of the stories we feature, our venue has a story of its own. The Flēot is a former City office building that's been given a new lease of life by the social enterprise Community Coworking, creating a vibrant community workspace and Green Skills Hub while the building awaits its next chapter. Rather than standing empty, it's become a place where people, ideas and opportunities come together. It felt like the perfect home for our first live gathering.

​Expect a relaxed evening with a glass of wine, a few good things to eat and plenty of time to meet people you probably wouldn't otherwise have met.

​I'll say a few words about the journey so far. Beyond that... who knows? There may be one or two familiar faces, there may be a few surprises, or there may be none at all. If you've followed The Third Half for any length of time, you'll know we don't do overly-scripted. The best moments usually happen when nobody sees them coming.
