​Baby Steps for a Healthy Future

​Preparing for your baby starts here!

​Baby Steps for a Healthy Future is a free one-stop prenatal resource and education event designed to help expecting mothers prepare for a healthy pregnancy and a healthy start for their baby.

​During this event, you will:

• ​Receive prenatal education

• ​Connect with community resources

• ​Learn about services available to support you throughout your pregnancy

• ​Complete your Healthy Start enrollment (if eligible)

• ​Receive baby and prenatal essentials to help you prepare for your new arrival

​Eligible Participants Will Receive:

• ​Baby Bag

• ​Prenatal Care Bag

• ​One additional baby essential (based on availability), such as diapers and wipes, a high chair, Pack 'n Play, or an infant carrier

​Eligibility Requirements

• ​Currently pregnant

• ​Smith County resident

• ​Not currently enrolled in Healthy Start

• ​Have not participated in Healthy Start during the current calendar year

​Please bring proof of Smith County residency for check-in. Acceptable forms include a driver's license or state-issued ID, utility bill, lease agreement, or another official document showing your current address.

​Registration is required and subject to approval. Space is limited to 20 participants per event.
