Revs' London: Cross Political Coalitions Coalitions with Animal Rights

​We've seen how common coalitions are between various social movements—but animal rights really doesn't seem to be able to build any meaningful coalitions. Why is that?

1. ​How much or our identity would we have to give up in order to be a movement that others would create a coalition with and would the benefits of doing so outweigh these concessions?

2. ​What makes a political cause one that is beneficial to form an alliance with and which specific political causes would it be beneficial to form an alliance with?

3. ​Would the creation of these alliances cause further fracture within the political schisms of our own movement?
