About Event

Notwics, Wig & Pen, and leading international law firm CMS would like to invite you to the launch edition of The Foundry Sessions — a new, curated, high-trust health tech community bringing together the UK’s top founders, frontier clinicians and scientists, strategic capital, and institutional partners.

The Panel:

⇒  VC: William Welton - Principal @ Fuel Ventures
⇒  VC: Leigh Brody - Investment Manager @ AlbionVC
⇒  AI/SCIENTIFIC: Rishub Jain ex-Google DeepMind (Nobel Prize-winning AlphaFold team); Co-founder & CEO @ Sampura Research
⇒  IP/LEGAL: Dr. Rachel Free, Partner @ CMS

Over breakfast, our expert panel will discuss the current trends shaping health tech, the investment themes attracting capital, IP — protecting and commercialising it — the impact of AI, and the opportunities for founders in 2026, with plenty of time for audience Q&A.

From 10.00am, there will be time to meet panelists and mingle with guests; founders will have the opportunity to attend specialist legal clinics* with experts from CMS (register interest on form).

The event will take place in the offices of our kind hosts CMS, Cannon Place, 78 Cannon Street, London, EC4N 6AF. Thank you to CMS and CMS equIP for their support.

The Format:

8.00am - Doors open

8.30am - Breakfast networking

8.50am - Welcome from CMS

9.00am - The Foundry Sessions-led panel discussion

10.00am - Networking + legal clinics (breakout sessions with leading CMS legal experts)

⇒  Alex Adams, Founder & CEO @ Wig & Pen; Founding Chief of Staff @ Sampura Research

Registration:

Please join us for what should be an insightful and entertaining morning. Seats are limited and going fast, so please register ASAP.

Founders — don’t forget to tell us your most urgent problems and any legal topics you’d like to cover in the pop-in clinics, so we can connect you with the most appropriate support.
