No Condolences II: Condolences Still Not Allowed
Did you do this insanely long walk last year and want to do it again?
Did you join us at the start last year but had to tap out before the finish line, and you want a shot at redemption?
Did you want to come out last year, but the stars just didn’t align?
Or are you hearing about this insanely long walk for the very first time and you're thinking "this is dumb as hell count me in"?
Are you Steve?
If so, boy howdy is this event for you.
Welcome to the 2nd annual "no condolences allowed" walk.
Join us for the second annual insanely long walk down the historic portion of Yonge Street (~50 km).
The purpose of this walk is to create space for reflection and remembrance of whoever you’ve lost, while getting to know new people along the way!
Loss and grief are hard, but it's easier when you know you're not alone.
This is a place to share memories, stories, jokes, silence --basically anything but condolences.
(If you haven't lost someone, but you want to come in solidarity, support, or just to test your endurance, you're completely welcome too.)
The walk will be Saturday, June 19th 2027, with more details, such as specific meeting time and location, rest break schedule, etc., to be announced closer to the date.
