"Berlin meets japan - and somewhere in between, our story begins. in 2017, a bowl of matcha in a berlin backyard set us on a path that still guides us today: the search for that clear, intense feeling. it led us to wazuka, yame and kagoshima, where we met tea farmers and masters we now work with directly.

​amika matcha was born out of friendship - and that’s exactly what it’s about: connection, trust and shared enjoyment. our matchas reflect the diversity of their origins -sometimes bold and vibrant, sometimes soft and deep, but always with character.
