Team Retreat Case Study: The Brief, The Design, The Result
Description:
In a few weeks everyone's back from holidays, and the offsites come back with them.
Somewhere on your calendar there's a team day in September or October. Maybe you've booked the venue already. But have you designed the day?
That's what this session is about.
I'm walking you through a real team retreat I designed, from the first brief to the final result.
I'll start with the client's actual brief, the messy version, not the cleaned-up one. Then I'll stop and hand it over to you. How would you design this day? What would you ask the client before saying yes?
After that, I'll show you what I actually built. The flow, the activities, the choices I made, and the ones I hesitated on.
Then the honest part. What worked in the room, what I'd do differently, and what the team walked out with.
You'll leave with a structure you can reuse, whether you're designing a retreat for a client or for your own team.
If your retreat is in September, you're at the point where designing it still makes a difference. Six weeks from now, it's too late to change much.
Who this is for
Team leads, Facilitators, consultants, HR or L&D people with an offsite on the calendar this autumn.
