(5/15) Self-Acceptance and Self-Love: A Salon
In a world that constantly tells us to be better, do more, and strive for perfection — what does it mean to simply be? To accept ourselves not as a project to fix, but as a person to love?
At this salon, we’ll explore the messy, tender, and often radical practice of self-acceptance and self-love, asking questions like:
What does true self-acceptance look and feel like — and what gets in the way of it?
How do we distinguish between growth and self-rejection disguised as self-improvement?
Where did we learn to be hard on ourselves, and how do we begin unlearning it?
Can self-love coexist with ambition, discipline, and change?
What happens when we stop trying to earn love — and start giving it to ourselves freely?
Join us for a vulnerable, heart-opening conversation about what it means to come home to yourself — flaws, fears, brilliance and all.
Drinks and snacks provided! We’ll be in Clinton Hill.
Attendance Policy: Please RSVP only if you’re certain you can make it! If you cancel within 48 hours of the event, you won’t be able to attend the next two salons (*Exceptions made if you’re unwell. Please stay home and message me if that’s the case). Salons thrive on active participation, so thank you for honoring your commitment!
PS: Know someone who might resonate with this topic? Feel free to invite them — just have them RSVP separately!
PPS: If $15 is a financial challenge, let me know. We can work something out!
