BLOCspace Conversations: Why Great Ideas Fail Without the Right Ecosystem
What happens when the people, community and environment around an idea aren't the right fit?
A great idea doesn't always succeed on its own. Sometimes, the people around it, the communities we belong to, and the environment we operate in can influence how far we go.
The same applies to communities. People join them hoping to find value, relationships, learning, support or opportunities, yet some struggle to participate, find their place or get the experience they expected.
For this edition of BLOCspace Conversations, we're bringing together different experiences and perspectives to explore what makes an ecosystem valuable, why the right environment matters, and what both community builders and members can do to create more meaningful experiences.
What we'll be discussing
What makes a community or ecosystem genuinely valuable?
Why do people join communities, and what makes them stay?
Can a good community still be the wrong community for someone?
Why do some communities struggle with participation?
Where does the responsibility lie between community owners and members?
How can the right environment influence the growth of an idea?
What should someone do when they realise they're in the wrong environment?
