Sunset Dance Jam on the Beach #20

​Second Alameda Dance Jam of 2026 featuring DJ Black Sunshine and DJ Meglennial. Though first one was dancing in the cold, and it hurt so good, I wanna be the one to walk in the sun. And if love is a battlefield, then life is just a party, and parties weren’t meant to last. So RSVP to shake that ass.

The April dance jam was bold and courageous given the wind and low temp. The fact of 50 people showing up anyway means we are on stride to Alameda dance jam critical mass... So here we go in May, and May the force be with us hoping for better weather and a banger of a second 2026 beach dance jam. We need you there!

​Grab a hoodie or a blanket just in case, and grab a friend too and head to the beach at the end of Park St. at 7pm on May 16th to dance together with hosts Deirdre, Angie and Noel and DJ Meglennial and DJ Black Sunshine with sound system by MAKEBOOMBOXES.com.

​The dance is on the beach at the corner of Park St and Shore Line Dr in Alameda (across from Sushi House). We are trying to dance at sunset by starting around 7 and wrap about 9:30 (cause it can get mad cold after sunset). We may go longer if weather permits. Family friendly.
