About Event

Postpartum depression affects 1 in 8 mothers, yet most women are identified only after symptoms appear. Join us for a timely fireside chat exploring the latest science, practical guidance, and emerging innovations that are transforming maternal mental health.

Featuring:

  • Dr. Jennifer Payne - Founder of the Women's Mood Disorders Center at Johns Hopkins, internationally recognized reproductive psychiatrist, and one of the pioneers behind the discovery of biological markers for postpartum depression.

  • Rashmi Raghavendra - CEO of Dionysus Healthcare, which is leading the development of myLuma™, an AI-enabled blood test designed to identify postpartum depression risk before symptoms emerge. Rashmi is also Co-Chair of the WHA Maternal Health Committee.

Together, they'll discuss how families can recognize risk earlier, support mothers more effectively, and what the future of prevention looks like. Join us to understand postpartum mental health, how it impacts women and their families, and what can be done to help.

Spouses, partners, significant others, and family members are especially encouraged to attend because maternal mental health is a family issue, not just a mother's issue.

This event is being hosted as a part of the Women's Health Advocates Maternal Health Committee and is supported by HLWF Alliance and Dionysus Healthcare.
