​Anyone familiar with our shelves, stocked with Britney Spears and Walter Benjamin alike, will know we've been thrilled about Dekonstructing the Kardashians: A New Media Manifesto since it first hit our feeds last year.

​Part media theory, part cultural analysis, the book interweaves history from the past fifty years of Western media—from the Old Hollywood studio system, to the advent of the twenty-four-hour news cycle, to tabloid culture and beyond—with analysis of the cultural influence Kim Kardashian wields over us all and the influences that have shaped her in kind.

​Psychotherapist, creator of the account Kardashian Kolloquim, and the book's author MJ Corey is joined by filmmaker Leonor Bettencourt Loureiro and Well Read’s Kaitlyn Davies for a conversation on our image-saturated, deeply-disjointed, self-referential reality.
