Project for Hunger Action Month
Show up for Hunger Action Month by serving meals at St. Vincent de Paul dining hall to individuals experiencing homelessness in the downtown area. During our shift, Girls Do the Work volunteers will help with meal service cafeteria-style, assisting on the serving line, handing out trays and dishes, and helping wherever needed to make dinner service run smoothly.
Our projects are designed to make giving back welcoming and social so you’ll be volunteering alongside other women who came for the same reason you did: to spend a little time doing something good for our community.
IMPORTANT RSVP DETAILS
This project has a strict volunteer headcount, so please only RSVP if you plan to attend and are able to be there at 4:30pm until 6:30pm. If your plans change, that's okay, just update your RSVP as soon as possible or let us know so we can give your spot to another volunteer.
Each volunteer will also need to create an account and register directly with the organization we’re serving. We’ll email you the link and follow-up instructions after your LUMA RSVP.
