About Event

Hedera University Program: UNAM Edition

Discover Hedera. Build on it. Connect with the community.

Hedera Campus Connect is an educational meetup designed to introduce university students and emerging developers in Mexico to the Hedera ecosystem and the opportunities available to builders.

As part of Hedera’s university program, this event aims to bring Hedera to more universities and communities across Mexico while helping a new generation of developers learn about the technology, its benefits, and the opportunities to build real-world applications with it.

Whether you are a Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Data Science student, a Web2 developer exploring Web3, or simply curious about blockchain and AI, this meetup is a chance to learn, build, and connect with other developers.

What will you learn?

During the meetup, you’ll get an introduction to:

  • The Hedera ecosystem and how developers can get started

  • Hedera’s core services, including the Hedera Token Service (HTS), Hedera Consensus Service (HCS), Smart Contracts, and AI development tools

  • How enterprise-grade infrastructure can be used to build real-world applications

  • How student projects and hackathon ideas can evolve into real products and startups

  • How to build your first application on Hedera through a hands-on beginner workshop

  • Opportunities to get involved in the Hedera ecosystem, including hackathons, bounties, grants, and the Ambassador Program
