Join Ainslee Hooper, Founder & Principal Consultant from Ainslee Hooper Consulting, for this 2-part, small-group pod designed to help you move from activity to evidence.
By the end of these workshops, you will have a clearer picture of how your existing disability inclusion efforts map against the SDGs, and a first introduction to how the DIOF™ framework can help you evidence and report on that impact.
Who is this Pod best for?
Leaders at organisations that are already doing meaningful disability inclusion work — who want to move beyond activity-based reporting toward evidence they can actually stand behind, alongside genuine peer learning with others wrestling with the same problem.
Pre-requisites for joining:
Your organisation has 100+ staff (mid-size or large) — this pod isn't built for small-business-scale disability inclusion work.
You hold a leadership or decision-making role in disability inclusion, DEI, or governance.
Your organisation already has some disability inclusion activity in place (a plan, a policy, a committee) — this isn't a starting-from-zero session.
You're willing to complete AHC's free Workplace Disability Inclusion Assessment before Session 1.
Note: Expert Pods happen on the first and third Thursdays of the month, at the same time for both sessions.
What to expect from Session 1
A discussion of your results from AHC's free Workplace Disability Inclusion Assessment, completed ahead of the session.
An introduction to the DIOF™ — the evidence-based framework that maps your disability inclusion efforts against the SDGs.
Initial reflection on which of your existing initiatives already have evidence behind them, and where the gaps in that evidence might sit.
What to expect from Session 2
A first application of DIOF™ thinking to your organisation's specific context, building on the mapping exercise from between sessions.
A look at how to structure evidence-based reporting against your existing inclusion commitments and the SDGs.
A clear sense of what a fuller DIOF™ engagement would involve, if you want to take this further.
Between sessions
Virtual Coworking sessions are available for those interested in accountability support. Hosted on the 3rd Thursday of the month, 10:30am - 12pm AEST, see your Slack channel for details and the link to add the reminder to your calendar.
About Ainslee Hooper
As Principal Consultant and Director of Ainslee Hooper Consulting, I specialise in helping organisations design disability inclusion strategy and governance that actually holds up — not just plans that look good on paper.
For more than half a decade, I've worked with local government, TAFEs, universities, and not-for-profit organisations across Australia on Disability Inclusion Action Plans, co-design, and governance framework design — grounded in applied anthropology and my own lived experience of disability.
I also developed the Disability Inclusion Outcomes Framework™ (DIOF™), built to answer the question most inclusion efforts can't: not what's been done, but what's actually different because of it.

If a ticket isn’t issued within 1-2 working days it means you have been added to a waitlist for this pod and you will be notified if we find you a space.
What's an Impact Collab Expert Pod?
Expert Pods are two-part, small group mentoring sessions, designed to help founders and organisational leaders build better systems for business, impact and/or wellbeing.
Facilitated by an Expert member from the Impact Collab, they are intimate, interactive, and personalised to your unique challenges, creating an environment for tailored advice, actionable feedback, accountability and growth.
How do they work?
Hosted during a single month, the pods are run as 2 x 1-hour online workshops, two weeks apart. The Workshops are interactive, with lots of Q&A, live feedback, and direct, tailored support.
At the end of Workshop 1, participants set a list of items to action or exercise. In Workshop 2, these items are reviewed, additional feedback is given, and next steps are provided. This is by far one of our most valuable knowledge and relationship-building programs in the community.

Cancellations and No Shows
Seats in the pods are extremely limited and our experts’ time is highly valuable so our cancellation policy is designed to reflect this.
If you are unable to attend your expert pod please email yaama@impactcollab.com.au as soon as possible to increase our chances of filling your seat.
If there are more than 7+ days until Workshop 1 your ticket will be re-released. No further action is needed and cancellation fees will not apply.
If there are less than 7 days until workshop 1, we will check the waitlist to see if we can find a replacement for your seat and best efforts will be made to fill your seat. If a replacement cannot be found, the following cancellation fees will apply. Both Sessions*: $30* | Session 2 only: $15.
You may also opt in for a $75, 30-min make up session for the following circumstances:
If you’ve missed session 1 to be able to join session 2
If you’ve only missed session 2
* Due to the private nature of the Expert Pods they will not be recorded. If you cannot attend session 1 then session 2 will be automatically forfeited if you do not do a makeup session.
