​Join us on Thursday, September 17, for an intimate, private chef dinner bringing together a curated group of Austin investors, creatives, and business leaders for a conversation at the intersection of cultural IP and private capital.

​Where does private capital fit in the next generation of independent filmmaking?

​As traditional financing models continue to favor established studios, proven IP, and lower-risk projects, independent creators are building a different path: developing original stories, assembling experienced teams, and bringing culturally relevant work to market through private capital.

​Over dinner, director and co-writer Charles Bradbury and producer Fate Chernoff will share the story behind HOT SHOT, an Austin-based independent feature currently in pre-production, and use the project as a lens into the broader opportunity around independent film, creative IP, and early-stage private investment.

​This will be a candid conversation about independent film, creative capital, and the opportunity to invest early in stories that have the potential to matter beyond the screen.
