Pokémon: Mystery Island with Ciarán

​This is an RPG Fest event; we'll be playing an in-person tabletop roleplaying game with a small group. The game will be hosted in Western Queens. Come prepared to roleplay!

​Pokémon: Mystery Island

​In this game, players will be 10-year-olds starting their Pokémon journey on Shell Island of the Orange Islands. The players are going to meet Professor Root to receive their starter Pokémon and begin their journeys exploring the world of Pokémon.

​After receiving your starter Pokémon, Prof. Root notices the PC Storage System is offline and asks you to go and meet Bill, the inventor and researcher, both as an opportunity to learn from a world-renowned researcher and also figure out what the problem is. Bill also lives on Shell Island, but when you arrive at Bill’s house, you discover he’s not there, and you’ll need to track him down in order to repair the PC Storage System.

​You will explore Shell Island, trying to learn about yourselves, find answers to questions, and meet others along the way. This is a homebrewed game by a self-described Pokémaniac with an original story inspired by the games, anime, and movies that includes a turn-based battle system, role-playing opportunities, and light puzzle solving. Pokémon fans are preferred.
