Narrative Therapy’s Response to Problems
This 4 session consultation group will explore narrative therapy’s ethical and theoretical conceptualisations of “problems”, rooted in concepts of context, power and discourse. We will focus on the experiential in order to situate our own body communities, and from this point co-explore some of the principles, ideas and ethics of narrative therapy.
Through sharing fragments from practice- and inviting others to do so too- we will consider possibilities for consulting the ideas, knowledges and communities of our “multi storied bodies”, intentionally resisting mastery/control/separation over our bodies or the world around us and inviting in multiplicity, expansiveness and community.
Who is this for:
Those looking to expand their narrative knowledge or practice through shared inquiry and experience
Therapists, artists, writers, creatives are all welcome in the space

Some feedback from previous groups:
“From my first time attending Fran Lassman's Narrative & The Body consultation group I experienced an expansion of possibilities in narrative therapy, where the human body is connected with all human processes. Fran offers a reflexive and safe space to broaded relational, ethical and imaginative conceptualisations of the human self that is both exciting and essential in a post human world.”
