

Launch Event
Please join us for the official launch of the Florida Space Research Consortium. This kickoff event at the Kennedy Space Center will feature a full day of networking and discussions with industry and academic partners.
Space companies are invited to participate in roundtable sessions and help shape the consortium from the start.
Agenda and time are being formalized, but this will be worth the drive, your time, and anything else you want to give away to attend.
Plan to arrive at 9 and leave at 3:30, with networking and coffee at the start and end.
Here's an outline of the day:
9-9:30 a.m. - Arrive at the Heroes & Legends Conference Facility (guest packet with final agenda, parking placard, directions will be sent to registered guests)
9:30-9:45 a.m. - Consortium overview
9:45-10 a.m. - Opening remarks
10-10:30 a.m. - KSC resources overview
10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. - Technical overview/capabilities (10 min. each for member universities)
12-1 p.m. - Networking lunch
Breakout meetings
1-2:30 p.m. - Industry roundtable - Florida Space Research Consortium structure/function (university leaders)
1-3 p.m. -
1-1:30 p.m. - Florida Space Grant presentation (Jaydeep Mukherjee)
1:30-3:30 p.m. - Florida Space Research Consortium science meeting (faculty & KSC) to create goals, potential working groups, etc.
2:30-3:30 p.m. - Coffee/networking
