Facade Foundation: Opening Reception & Fundraiser

​Facade Foundation is thrilled to invite you to a reception and fundraiser in celebration of our third facade installation! Please join us this Thursday, December 11th from 8pm to 11.

​As a grassroots public arts nonprofit, this milestone means a great deal to us, and we’re excited to host this small fundraiser to help support our future work across New York City! Celebrating our third facade, a site-specific artwork by artist Anthony Olubunmi Akinbola, is especially meaningful, as it’s located just down the street from one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants, Lula Mae. We invite you to join us there in celebrating this wonderful new exhibition and in supporting the continued growth of our mission to carve out a new medium for public art.

​How to donate next Thursday:

​Simply purchase any drink! Lula Mae is generously donating 100% of drink proceeds from the evening directly to Facade Foundation in support of future installations. Whether it’s a cocktail, beer, or non-alcoholic option, all drink sales will help us continue to transform the neglected, active scaffolding so prevalent across NYC into space for possibilities.

​We hope you’ll join us for a warm, celebratory evening with friends and community as we honor our launch this year and look ahead to the future. Your presence and support, if possible, will truly make a meaningful difference.
