Eternal Festival: Venus Calling
A world for 66 souls
The Eternal Festival: Venus Calling is an intimate three night reunion and retreat for 66 souls who want more than another party, festival or weekend away. It is designed for people who seek depth, who are curious about themselves and one another, and who value beautiful experiences, thoughtful conversation, ritual, creativity, play, sensuality and meaningful human connection.
For three nights, Château du Fey becomes a temporary home for our community. We imagine slow mornings, beautiful meals, movement, conversation, sauna, sound, firelight, tea late into the evening, dancing, nature, old friendships deepening and new ones beginning.
The intention is to create a well held space where people can disconnect from technology, soften their usual roles, become present with one another and have the time and permission to go deeper. To discover more about ourselves, more about each other, and perhaps to remember something about life that becomes easy to forget: that we came here to experience it.
Who is The Venus Calling for?
The Venus Calling is for people who feel there is more available in human connection than what we normally experience in everyday life. It is for the curious, the artists, the thinkers, the lovers, the seekers, the builders and the dreamers. It is for old friends who want more than a quick reunion, and new friends who sense there may be something important to discover in one another.
It is for people who appreciate intellectual curiosity and emotional depth, but who also know that life is meant to be enjoyed. There will be moments of reflection and moments of celebration, space to move inward and space to move toward one another. Beautiful meals, long conversations, music, movement, rest, nature, laughter and experiences designed to invite curiosity and connection.
There will be opportunities to explore, but never pressure to participate. We welcome an open minded, consent based, sex positive culture while keeping the heart of the weekend focused on friendship, ceremony, creativity, curiosity and meaningful connection. Sex positivity here means openness rather than expectation. Consent, autonomy and personal boundaries are fundamental.
The Story
The Venus Calling was never supposed to exist. This weekend began as a wedding. A beautiful celebration had been imagined at Château du Fey and a significant investment had already been made to bring friends and family together. But as the wedding approached, the pressure surrounding it began creating more stress than joy.
Rather than continuing simply because a wedding was expected to happen, the couple made the difficult decision to cancel. It was not a light decision. It came from honesty, courage and the willingness to recognize when something needs to change.
Friends, artists, facilitators and creators began coming together around the couple. People offered their time, ideas, creativity and support. Instead of allowing the weekend to disappear, we began imagining what else it might become.
What if a weekend originally built around celebrating the relationship between two people could evolve into something that celebrates the relationships between all of us? What if instead of gathering to witness one ceremony, we created a weekend where everyone became part of the experience? What if something difficult could be transformed into something generous?
The wedding gave us the Chateau The community gave us another reason to gather. Eternal Festival: Venus Calling is what emerged.
