Regenerative Rage
"The people cannot be healed unless the land is healed and the land cannot be healed until the people are healed by the land".
-Martín Prechtel
Are you often overwhelmed by life’s responsibilities while also feeling the pressure to “hold it all together”?
Many people have nervous systems overloaded with anger, stress, grief, and frustration, without supportive practices to transmute it; and the ecologies we live in often embody this same congestion and stagnation. Most, if not all, of our ancestors had culturally embedded ways to constantly tend the inner and outer landscapes. This experience is an opportunity to engage in the reclamation of that way of life as appropriate in this place and time.
Regenerative Rage is a facilitated weekend for a small group of men who are ready to harness and alchemize thoughts and emotions via the body and land to be in service to life. We will do this work safely and on purpose with supervision and structure. Led by Gregory Hawk Palmer (land steward, restoration practitioner, council facilitator, body worker) this container blends somatic resourcing with real stewardship work: fire-scaping, wood splitting, building burn piles, and tending a controlled burn as a capstone ritual.
We have come to this work from seeing the need for eco-cultural integration. This means we must recognize our inner and outer environments as reflections and learn how to transmute rather than transmit the harm we have inherited. Simply put, the unprecedented intensity of wildfires and simultaneous cultural upheavals are one and the same.
In this workshop we offer over 15 years of experience on the matter. We will be guiding participants through the practical skills and artistic processes that continue to be our own mainstay for navigating these turbulent times.

The Land
Peace Fire is a farm & forest Sanctuary dedicated to fostering a culture of place that actively participates in the reclamation of humans as an expression of nature in all we do. Nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada range in Calaveras County about 2.5 hours east of the SF Bay, Peace Fire is a 70 acre property with a clean, seasonally drinkable creek running through it.
Together, Gregory and Kait founded Peace Fire with the intention to marry their mutual strengths in Permaculture and Somatic healing arts that people and the land may heal and grow together.
