Diapers are Optional: Everything You Need to Start Elimination Communication with The Diaper Exit (Pregnancy-12M Welcome)
Ever wonder if there's a way out of diapers before the toddler potty training battle even starts? There is, it's called Elimination Communication, and it's been quietly used by parents for generations.
I'm Liza, founder of The Diaper Exit. I used EC firsthand with my own two kids, starting at 4 months and 6 months. I typically work one-on-one with clients through private sessions, and I'm excited to bring that same approach to a group setting for the first time. I've developed a method that works around any schedule, from varying childcare providers to demanding jobs, no lifestyle overhaul required. This workshop is ideal for anyone curious about EC, from pregnancy through parents of babies who haven't started walking yet (approx. 0-12 months).
Feel free to bring your baby, or come solo — both work great! Bringing your little one lets you practice cues and hands-on skills in real time, while coming solo (or pregnant) can help you focus fully on the material if that feels easier for you.
Here's what parents say after working with me:
"Within ten minutes of our meeting, EC made complete sense to me as Liza made it sound simple and intuitive. She explains the process in such a straightforward way that you wonder why everyone isn't doing it."
"She was so sweet and gentle and so good at explaining the process. Also all of the upside to doing it."
By the end of this class, you'll walk away with:
How to completely sidestep the potty training battle down the line
A personalized plan for exactly when and how to start EC with your baby
The common pitfalls that trip up new EC parents, and how to avoid them
A clear understanding of how EC actually works
All the benefits of EC: saving money, fewer diapers in landfills, less diaper rash, and skipping years of diaper changes
How to actually hold and keep your baby on a potty without a fight or fussing
How to read your baby's cues and get their timing right
The long-term next steps once you get started
This is casual, practical, and built for real life. A slow and gradual introduction to the potty lets your baby build this into their routine as a natural habit, rather than something to "train" after years of diapers. Bring your questions! We'll leave plenty of time for Q&A and troubleshooting your specific situation. Spots are limited to keep this small and hands-on. Grab yours below.
