โ€‹๐Ÿงธ Supporting Children to Thrive: Understanding Neurodiversity & ADHD

โ€‹Exploring Neurodiversity, Early Intervention & Practical Strategies

โ€‹Presented by Ruh Care, in partnership with MUHSEN Canada, with the generous support by Humaniti Foundation

โ€‹Every child develops and experiences the world differently. Sometimes, developmental or behavioural differences can leave parents, educators, and caregivers wondering whether what they're seeing is simply part of a child's development or something that may need further attention and support.

โ€‹Join us for a FREE community workshop exploring neurodiversity, with a focus on ADHD and autism, and how developmental and behavioural differences can present in children. The workshop will be offered both in person and virtually, so you can join from wherever you are.

โ€‹Led by Runda Ebied (OT), Pediatric Occupational Therapist at Ruh, with over a decade of experience working directly with schools, teachers, and students, this session will provide practical insights to help you recognize signs and challenges, understand when early support may be beneficial, and learn strategies to help children thrive at home and in school.

โ€‹โœจ About the Event

โ€‹Neurodiversity reminds us that every brain develops and processes the world in its own way. Understanding these differences can help us respond to children with greater compassion while recognizing when additional support may be helpful.

โ€‹Together, we'll explore the foundations of neurodiversity, including ADHD and autism, how developmental and behavioural challenges may present, and some of the differences in how these conditions can be recognized and understood.

โ€‹We'll also discuss the importance of early intervention, available avenues of support, and practical strategies parents and educators can use to foster development and create more inclusive environments at home and in school.

โ€‹The session will close with an interactive Q&A, giving attendees an opportunity to ask questions and explore specific concerns.

โ€‹๐Ÿคฒ๐Ÿป This workshop is made possible through the generous support of @wearehumaniti and delivered in partnership with @muhsencanada and @ruhcare.
