Hyperstition Day

​It's a made-up holiday to celebrate ideas that create themselves.

​Here is the tradition:

• ​Bring a paperback copy of your favorite science fiction novel

• ​Be prepared to share a few sentences about why its your favorite, or the best.

• ​Trade science fiction novels with someone else

​Dress code is dark, noir, cyberpunk, or whatever your idea of the science fiction future is. Do whatever you want.

​Remember, superstitions are false beliefs, but hyperstitions are beliefs that come true by being believed in.

​There will be complimentary high noons and magical bracelets for all attendees.
