ForróDanceClass

​Forró [pronounced foh-HOH] is an essential part of the culture of Northeastern Brazil. The term refers to the music, the dance, and even the social gatherings where people come together!

​No previous dance experience is needed! This beginner-friendly class is designed for anyone who wants to discover forró in a relaxed and welcoming environment! We’ll start with an easy warm-up and then learn the basic steps of modern forró!

​After the class, stay for our social dance with DJ MoSamba, featuring great Brazilian music. The perfect opportunity to practice your new skills, meet new people, and simply have fun!

​6:00–7:00 PM - Beginner forró class

​7:00–10:00 PM - Social dance with DJ MoSamba

​Tickets (at the door only)

​$15 - Beginner Class + Social Dance (arrive by 6:00 PM)

​$10 - Social Dance Only (entry beginning at 7:00 PM)
