The POLICORNER Mississauga Mayoral Debate
Join us on Monday, Oct. 5 — the eve of advance voting — for “The Mississauga Mayoral Debate,” hosted by POLICORNER, bringing together the leading mayoral candidates for a 90-minute debate on the future of the province's fourth-largest city.
POLICORNER's Ahmad Elbayoumi and NEWSTALK 1010's John Moore will moderate.
When: Monday, October 5, 2026, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. ET. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and close promptly at 6:45 p.m. Late entry will not be permitted.
Where: The Mississauga Civic Centre, located at 300 City Centre Dr.
Who: Candidates with at least five per cent support, based on an average of public opinion polls conducted as of Sept. 18, 2026, have been invited to participate. Participating candidates will be announced in the coming days.
Parking: Underground parking is available at the Mississauga Civic Centre, with vehicle access from Duke of York Boulevard. Parking is free after 6 p.m. on weekdays.
Seating is limited. Tickets are $15 per person and are required for entry. Additional information, including the exact location and entry instructions, will be sent to registered attendees ahead of the debate.
The debate will be recorded and broadcast live. By attending, guests acknowledge that they may appear in photographs or video captured during the event.
