Notion Time Capsule

​In one year's time, you're going to receive a letter from yourself. 31st of July is when you're going to write it.

​Tonight you're going to write a letter to yourself and seal it until next summer - a message in a bottle from the version of you sitting in a room on a summer evening in July, that finds its way back to you a whole year from now.

​Research shows that writing to your future self creates something called temporal distancing. It lowers anxiety, builds self-compassion, and makes you more likely to act on the things that matter to you. It's one of the simplest and most evidence-backed things you can do for yourself. And it only takes a couple of hours.

​Join us for an afternoon of reflection, collage creation and honest writing. We'll start with a short talk on the science behind writing to your future self, then spend time making a vision collage from magazines, before writing our letters in Notion. We'll close the afternoon by sealing the vault together - your letter locked away until July 2027, when we send it back to everyone at the same moment.
