Celebration of Life for Professor Tony Bailetti
Please join us for a public celebration of life honouring Professor Tony Bailetti.
Tony was a devoted father and grandfather, a beloved professor and mentor, and a tireless builder of people, programs, and opportunity. Over 50 years as a professor, including 47 years at Carleton University, and through his work with the TIM Program, Lead To Win, the TIM Review, and many other initiatives, he helped students, founders, innovators, colleagues, and community partners think bigger, act with purpose, and build for the future.
We will gather as family, friends, students, alumni, colleagues, and community members to remember Tony’s life, share stories, and honour the enduring impact he had on so many.
Doors will open at 3:00 PM. The celebration program will begin at 3:30 PM, with a reception to follow.
Please RSVP so we can plan appropriately.
In lieu of flowers or other gifts, the family encourages you to donate funds to support families facing extreme poverty in San Juan de Miraflores in Peru. The charity, Maryknoll Base Missionary Communities Peru, has been funded by Tony and his brother Alberto for many years. They have made a lasting impact for this marginalized community and you can help continue generational change in Tony's absence.
