Local Hub Zurich Meetup (May): From tension to trust - leading teams in times of change
Change doesn’t break teams, the unspoken tension that follows it does. When organisations restructure, merge, shift strategy, or simply ask people to work differently (hello AI), teams don’t just face a new reality, but they face each other differently.
Trust erodes quietly, roles get unclear and old dynamics calcify at exactly the moment flexibility is most needed. Then, most team interventions organisations do is treating the symptom, not the system.
On May 6, Nevena Buzek and Maja Seggerman will bring together two distinct bodies of expertise — Transactional Analysis, systemic coaching, and decades of working with teams in real organisational turbulence, to explore what actually moves teams from defensive tension to genuine trust during change.
What we’ll get into:
We’ll work with the Transformational Team Coaching model to make team behaviour under change legible, so you can see what’s actually happening beneath the surface and know where to intervene. Because the gap between a team that fragments under pressure and one that strengthens is rarely about skill. It’s about the relational patterns that either hold or break when things get hard.
You’ll leave with a sharper understanding of why teams regress under change, a set of diagnostic tools to spot where a team is stuck, and practical approaches you can bring into your next team conversation.
This is for you if: • You are a leader responsible for a team going through change • You work in HR, L&D, or OD and support people development from inside an organisation • You want to understand what’s really happening in your teams and what to do about it
See you there!
