About Event

โ€‹Join us to celebrate the launch of Go Jauntly's brand new This City Moves: Liverpool Vs Birmingham walking and wheeling challenge.

โ€‹This led walk is a taster of the new Birmingham Made by Migration trail and you'll be led by Go Jauntly's co-founder, Hana.

โ€‹The walk starts on the pedestrianised area opposite the National Trust's Back-to-Backs. The route is mostly flat. Normal footwear should be fine but be mindful of wet weather.

โ€‹The route will be: approximately 1.5 miles

โ€‹Duration: About 1.5 hours all in - allowing for a leisurely and conversational walk.

โ€‹We look forward to meeting you there!

โ€‹About This City Moves

โ€‹Liverpool and Birmingham are going head to head. From Monday 7 September, we're running a free six week walking and wheeling challenge, built on nothing more than walking for wellbeing, friendly rivalry and bragging rights.

โ€‹Pick your team: Birmingham, Liverpool, or Team Rest of the World if you're joining in from anywhere else. Then pick your daily step goal, 1,000, 3,000 or 5,000 steps, and stick with it for six weeks. Every day you hit your goal helps your team climb the leaderboard, so however far you walk, you count! You'll also reap the benefits of walking and wheeling and there's also a chance for Birmingham/Liverpool residents to turn their steps into prizes including a ยฃ500 National Trust voucher and the city with the most points will receive ten blossom trees.

โ€‹We've also got over 40 miles of self-guided routes for you to enjoy across the Birmingham region on the app to help inspire you.

โ€‹Sign ups to the This City Moves challenge are open now on the free Go Jauntly app. Join now or find out more: www.thiscitymoves.com
