The Ethics of Wealth: The Morality of Value Creation
Most people chase wealth by optimizing for themselves, but they end up shrinking their future without realizing it. This talk reframes wealth as the expansion of optionality for yourself and others — and shows why the most selfishly aligned path is to become a net creator of value. You’ll leave seeing generosity, leverage, and ambition through a completely different lens.

I grew up in rural Appalachia where money, or the lack of it, controlled almost every choice, and that pushed me to obsess over how wealth, opportunity, and responsibility really work. Since then I’ve spent my life building payment systems and investment structures, and this talk is my attempt to share what I’ve learned about how value creation can expand real freedom for both you and the people around you.
