Founder confessions: Building the right business for you
Building a business that enables the life you want is harder than it looks.
There’s no universal benchmark for founders. It can be hard to know whether you’re ahead, behind, or carrying something everyone else is carrying too.
Along the way, you may carry things like:
The hire you regret
The pivot you knew was wrong
The pressure to raise VC money
The version of success you’re not sure you even want
This is a night for saying it out loud.
We’ll hear candid reflections from founders who are scaling successful companies:
Ashley Chang Dawson of Sundays ($2m+ ARR supporting parents at home + work)
Pierre Calzadilla of Upfront & Vero (200 real estate brokerages and 20K agents process over 45K transactions a year)
Maria Jesus Perez of Arete Studios ($4.2m annualized run rate for up-and-coming fashion brands on their platform)
Caroline Dell of Goodword (~$4m raised for their beloved relationship management tool)
Joseph Lee of Superdemo ($3m+ ARR for an aI-native product demo platform)
Then we'll open up the room for discussion, shared perspective, and connection. Come ready to listen, contribute, and meet other founders building with intention.
Light bites included ~
Our goal is to create a safe space for ambitious humans to discuss what it really takes to build a business that aligns with the life you want.
Sponsors are being finalized now. Contact us ASAP at ashley@ashleygracejefferson.com if you're interested in being considered.
