A Part of Me Has Cancer - The Part Who Is Afraid
🫶 The Part Who Is Afraid
Cancer can bring fear into places where we desperately want certainty.
Fear about treatment.
Fear about scans.
Fear about recurrence.
Fear about your body.
Fear about the future.
Fear about the things you don’t even want to say out loud.
Sometimes the part who is afraid researches everything. 🔎
Sometimes she catastrophizes.
Sometimes she checks and rechecks.
Sometimes she wants someone to promise her that everything is going to be okay.
In this 90-minute live workshop, we’ll explore what happens when we stop trying to get rid of fear and begin getting curious about the part of us who is afraid instead. 💛
Using Internal Family Systems (IFS) in simple, accessible language, we’ll gently explore what this part may be carrying, what she’s trying to protect you from, and how you can begin to stay with yourself when certainty simply isn’t available.
✨ You can expect:
🌿 Real conversation about the emotional experience of cancer
🧠 An introduction to IFS and parts work
💛 A guided experiential practice
🫂 Space to listen, reflect, share, or simply be present
🎧 A guided meditation you can keep and return to when fear gets loud
You do not need to know anything about IFS, and you never have to share more than feels comfortable.
This gathering is open to all women anywhere in the cancer experience, whether you are newly diagnosed, in active treatment, living with ongoing treatment, or beyond treatment.

You don’t have to make the fear disappear.
Maybe the beginning is learning how to sit beside the part of you who is scared. 🤍
