Workshop For Conscious Facilitators: The 3 Shadows Of The Healer
A Workshop To Improve Your Facilitation and Wellness Practioner Skills
When you spend your time supporting others, your sensitivity can become both your greatest gift, and your greatest Nemesis.
You probably naturally sense what others are feeling.
You often find yourself wanting to help, support, guide or heal.
And sometimes, without even realizing it, you start carrying what belongs to someone else.
But where does supporting others end, and carrying them begin? And, what drives your desire to help?
And what happens when your own unresolved patterns begin to enter the spaces you hold?
What happens when your need to be seen is bigger than the need of your clients?
This Workshop & Circle is an invitation to explore these questions together, and to become more conscious of the way we walk the path of the healer and facilitator.
Who is this for?
This circle is especially for you if you:
Facilitate teams, workshops, retreats, ceremonies or healing spaces
Work as a leader, coach, healer, therapist, bodyworker or wellness practitioner
Work with plant medicine, ceremonial or other sensitive practices
Work in birth, embodiment, somatic or transformational spaces
Regularly find yourself holding emotional or energetic space for others
Tend to take responsibility for other people's wellbeing
Notice that you sometimes absorb the emotions, energy or problems of the people around you
Want to develop greater discernment around what belongs to you and what belongs to others
Are committed to your own inner work as part of the way you support others
You don't need to identify as a healer professionally.
If people naturally come to you for support, guidance, healing or emotional holding, this space is for you.
Come with curiosity, openness and a willingness to look honestly at your own patterns.
What we'll explore
We will begin with a teaching from Omar M'Rabet Gomez, introducing four types of healers working in sensitive fields.
These archetypes can be found across different forms of healing and facilitation from ceremonial and medicine work to birth work, coaching and wellness practices.
You will explore:
The four types of healers and facilitators
Which type or types you recognize yourself in
The gifts and strengths of your particular type
The shadows and blind spots that can accompany each type
What may be driving your desire to help others
Where helping can become over-giving, rescuing or carrying
How your own unresolved patterns can enter the spaces you hold
How to become more conscious of your own process as a healer or facilitator
The intention is not to judge or eliminate our shadows.
It is to see them clearly enough that they no longer unconsciously lead the work.
A Conscious Circle
After the teaching, we will open the space into facilitated small groups for reflection and shared exploration led by Sophie Vo.
Together, we will inquire into questions around your healing archetypes and the shadows, to bring light to it.
The circles will be a space to reflect, share, listen and learn from one another.
Rather than trying to fix each other, we will practice becoming more aware of what is actually present.
The facilitators
Sophie Vo
Sophie is a leadership coach and founder of ORIN, working at the intersection of conscious leadership, personal transformation and human potential.
After 17+ years in tech and gaming leadership, she has increasingly moved her work beyond the mind and into somatic, energetic and transformational practices.
Her work today is focused on helping leaders reconnect with themselves, their purpose and a more conscious way of leading.
Omar M’Rabet Gomez
Omar has spent more than two decades working at the intersection of ancient wisdom, sacred healing traditions and transformational human potential.
Trained for eight years in the Amazon basin and carrying rare Mayan lineages, his work is rooted in depth, devotion and respect for the traditions he works with.
As the founder of The Quantum Soul, Omar has guided more than 8,000 souls and trained 130+ practitioners through transformational journeys, working with Fortune 500 CEOs, Navy SEALs, celebrities and first responders.
His work spans continents, united by one sacred thread: helping people remember who they truly are, and step fully into it.
An Invitation For Self-Awareness
The deeper we go into supporting others, the more important our own inner work becomes.
This does not mean that a healer or facilitator needs to be perfectly healed.
It means developing enough awareness to recognize our own wounds, projections, needs and patterns, so that we can take responsibility for them rather than unconsciously placing them into the spaces we hold.
This circle is an invitation to turn the healer's gaze inward — to become more aware of our own shadows, take responsibility for our own healing, and learn how to support others without losing ourselves in the process.
Because the work of holding space for others begins with learning how to hold space for ourselves.
Limited to 20 participants.
Door opens at 6. Event starts at 6.20pm.
