Hammer It Down is Anvil’s concept review night for students preparing to submit to the Burton D. Morgan Venture Concept Competition, competing for a chance at the pool of $100,000. Whether your idea is already taking shape or still feels rough around the edges, this is a chance to put it in front of other builders, faculty, mentors, and students who can help you make it stronger before the deadline.
Founders and teams will share their concepts in a round-table trade show format, getting direct feedback on the problem, solution, assumptions, and biggest questions still left to answer. You’ll leave with new perspectives, concrete feedback, and a clearer idea of what to improve before submitting.
Don’t have a concept yet? Come anyway. We’re also bringing together students who want to join a team, meet founders, and get involved in the competition. If a team is looking for someone with your skills, this is your chance to find each other.
Anvil members and mentors will also be around throughout the night to make introductions, connect teams with resources, and help founders figure out what comes next.
