About Event

PMOS (formerly known as PCOS, renamed in 2026 to Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome) is still widely understood as a fertility issue first. In reality, it is a whole-body hormonal and metabolic condition that touches insulin resistance, cardiovascular risk, skin, hair, mental health, and more. This event moves the conversation past fertility to give attendees a fuller, more practical picture of what living with PMOS actually involves, and where support beyond diagnosis can help. Join Emmi Health and a panel of PMOS health experts for a conversation on managing PMOS at every stage of life, followed by a live audience Q&A.

Meet the Panelists:

Dr. Corey Babb, DO, FACOOG, IF, MSCP
Founder and Medical Director, Haven Center (Tulsa, OK)
Dr. Babb is a board-certified gynecologist, author, and educator specializing in female sexual medicine, menopause, and complex vulvovaginal disorders. At Haven Center, his work centers on sexual pain, vaginismus, and hormonal health, helping patients get answers to concerns that are often overlooked or dismissed. He is an ISSWSH Fellow, a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, and the author of A Practical Guide to Female Sexual Medicine and the forthcoming A Practical Guide to Menopausal Medicine (December 2026). He also advises women’s health companies through Foxhaven Advisory.

Dr. Nia Spicer-Thomas, APRN, FNP-BC
Founder, Olive Branch Total Wellness
Dr. Spicer-Thomas is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in PCOS, hormone optimization, and postpartum health. Misdiagnosed with fibromyalgia at 16 and later navigating multiple pregnancy losses before PCOS was identified as the cause, she has spent the last decade helping women get answers sooner. She trained at Florida Atlantic University and founded Olive Branch Total Wellness, a telehealth practice that approaches PCOS as a metabolic condition, not just a reproductive one, addressing gut health, insulin resistance, and inflammation rather than masking symptoms.

Julie Duffy Dillon, RD
Julie is a Registered Dietitian and Host of Find Your Food Voice®, a popular, long-running nutrition podcast. She also writes the PMOS Health with Intuitive Eating Newsletter on Substack.
She helps people with PMOS strategize how to balance blood sugar, increase energy, and improve their body image. Her work has been featured on TLC and in the New York Times, Outside Magazine, Shape and other outlets. She is the author of the book, Find Your Food Voice (Hachette, 2025). Her next book, PMOS Power Moves: Nutrition and Exercise Strategies to Balance Blood Sugar, Improve Fertility, and Repair Body Image (Routledge), is coming out in January 2028.

Erynn Christensen, PhD
Dr. Erynn Christensen (she/her) is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Psychiatry at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) with a joint appointment at Harvard Medical School. Her research investigates the influence of sex hormones on neurocognitive functions, with a particular interest in how endocrine disruptions arising from reproductive health disorders and the aging process affect brain and cognitive functioning. Dr. Christensen serves as the Principal Investigator of the PMOSandUs Study, which examines the relationships between endocrine and metabolic disruptions and neurocognitive functioning in women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome/ Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovary Syndrome. Her recent work also explores cognitive disruption and brain fog during the menopausal transition, with the goal of better understanding healthy cognitive aging. Prior to joining BIDMC, Dr. Christensen completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research, Northwell Health, New York. She earned her Bachelor of Psychological Sciences (with Honours) and completed her PhD in 2024 at Monash University, Australia, where her doctoral research focused on the neurocognitive correlates and predictors of addictive behaviors.

About Emmi Health:

Emmi Health was built by a PMOS patient, for PMOS patients. Our founder, Jenny, spent years chasing answers for unexplained symptoms before finally being diagnosed. She turned that experience into a mission: to give women the research-backed guidance, personalized support, and genuine empathy they deserve. We know how isolating it can feel to leave a doctor's appointment with more questions than answers. That's why Emmi exists — to bridge the gap between provider visits with evidence-based resources and practical tools tailored to your unique symptoms and needs. Learn more at emmi.health
