TSOP turns 1!

The State of Play turns 1!!

We could have thrown a normal, perfectly boring party. But where's the sport in that?

We've spent the last year covering the stories, that make sport what it is. Naturally, we thought we'd bring a little of that sporting spirit to our birthday.

This time, partying is the sport. And you'll be competing. Your ability to show up, talk to strangers, make small talk and stay till the end will all be put to the test.

Qshala will be joining us with quizzes throughout the night. So brush up on your trivia. Your small talk could use some work, too.

And, of course, this one's for our loyal subscribers. Consider it a small thank you for sticking with us through the year.
