Hike the Ferndell Trail with Erosion in Los Angeles
Interested in taking a light hike with HIKING BUDDIES Feature Film Director Katherine Vondy and Erosion Co-Founder Tracy Held? Then join us on Saturday, May 2nd for a free hike at the Ferndell Trail in Griffith Park. This hike is fairly flat and wide and makes a half-mile loop. Register in advance to get details about this event.
Originally inhabited by the Gabrielino-Tongva Nation, the Ferndell Trail is a quarter-mile footpath along a man-made stream, shaded by tropical foliage, including ferns, and sycamore trees.
Hang out with us afterwards for coffee at The Trails! Both the trail and the coffee shop are wheelchair-accessible.
HIKING BUDDIES is a horror slasher comedy feature film about a woman who is so obsessed with Leave No Trace principles that when her hiking buddies leave trash on the trail, she kills them! This is a cautionary tale to make viewers think twice about littering. On this hike, participants are encouraged to help pick up trash!
Bring layers, sun protection, hydration, snacks, and something to help dispose of trash with (optional).
