GPhC Exam Calculations with a Former GPhC Assessor (Free for Members)

Join us on Wednesday 19 August at 8:00pm BST for a live calculations workshop led by Ahmed Aboo, Head of the Leicester School of Pharmacy at De Montfort University and former member of the GPhC Board of Assessors.

​This interactive session will focus on helping trainees approach registration assessment calculations with greater confidence. Ahmed will work through a range of calculation question types commonly encountered during exam preparation, discuss effective calculation strategies, and highlight common mistakes that candidates make.

​Ahmed has over 10 years' experience in academia and has worked extensively across both community and hospital pharmacy as a pharmacist and independent prescriber. During his 15 years at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, he held a variety of clinical and leadership roles.

​As a former member of the GPhC Board of Assessors, Ahmed brings a unique perspective on the standards expected of candidates and the challenges trainees commonly face when preparing for the assessment.

​The workshop will include worked examples, exam technique advice, opportunities to ask questions, and practical tips to help you maximise your marks in the calculations paper.
