👤 About Daniel Clarke
Daniel Clarke is the Founder of Elderado, a platform created to make finding the right care for aging loved ones clearer, faster, and less overwhelming.
Daniel's work with Elderado began with a deeply personal experience. When his grandmother, Marnie Ellis, was hospitalized with lupus, Daniel and his family were suddenly faced with the challenge of navigating a complicated care system with very little guidance.
They had to figure out which homes could provide the right level of care, where Grandma would feel most comfortable, how much it would cost, and where to even begin looking. Daniel was surprised that there wasn't an easier way to search, compare, and filter elder care options, similar to the experience of searching for a hotel or vacation rental online.
That experience inspired him to create Elderado, with the goal of helping other families navigate the process with more clarity, confidence, and less stress.
