About Event
Governor Newsom just signed SB 63, authorizing a 2026 regional transit funding measure that could reshape how Bay Area transit is funded and governed.
How does Bay Area transit work today, and what would it take to make it better?
Join Berkeley Students for Abundance for a discussion with Sebastian Petty, Transit Policy Advisor for SPUR, a Bay Area-based think tank focused on urban planning. We'll take a clear look at how Bay Area transit is structured and funded, and how to create a truly integrated network. We’ll also explore the potential of a regional funding measure and how new initiatives from SPUR shape the path forward.
Please bring questions since there will be time for Q&A. Free pizza provided.
